Before forming Long & Greenberg, Ms. Greenberg was a Director at the law firm of Elzufon Austin & Mondell, where she specialized in representing employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation cases.
Elissa A. Greenberg, Esquire, is a founding partner of Long & Greenberg. Before forming Long & Greenberg, Ms. Greenberg was a defense attorney at Elzufon Austin & Mondell, PA, where she held the title of Director. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2009.
Ms. Greenberg is best known for her legal work in the area of workers’ compensation law. Notable Delaware Supreme Court victories include: Arrants v. Home Depot, 65 A. 3d 601 (Del. 2013); Greenville Country Club v. Greenville Country Club, 150 A.3d 1194 (Del. 2016); Morris James, LLP v. Weller, 2018 WL 1611267 (Del. 2018); and Horizon Services, Inc. v. Henry, 304 A. 3d 552 (Del. 2023).
Ms. Greenberg is the proud spouse of Andrew Hudak, a lieutenant with the Delaware State Police.

Ms. Greenberg achieved SuperLawyers status in 2019 at which time she was also recognized as a Rising Star. She received Delaware Today Top Lawyer awards in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. She served on the Delaware State Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section’s executive committee for three terms, to include serving as Chair from 2023-2024. She was recently selected as Assistant Treasurer of The Randy J. Holland Delaware Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court for the 2024-2025 term.
